Tesco – Car Park Lighting

Tesco is one of the largest Retailers in the UK and is over 100 years old. VeeLite has been manufacturing Car Park Lights for Tesco Stores since the early 1990s – see old photo below. Our Products can be seen throughout the UK, especially in retail stores owned by Tesco, Asda, Morrissons (prev Safeways), etc. Today, we are manufacturing LED car park Lights and refitting many of the older Stores as well as new Green-field Stores. In these older Stores, older HPS Car Park Lights and Street lights are typically replaced with specialised LED Car Park Lights and LED Streetlights. In new green-field Stores, we have supplied a variety of Tesco Car Park Lighting, including architectural solutions.

The Photos show some of the many Tesco Stores that have been illuminated in recent years. VeeLite offers a lighting design service to find the optimum lighting solution, the best light levels with the least amount of Poles and clutter, and the most reliable long life equipment.

VeeLite offers several LED Car Park Lights, which includes different shapes and sizes. These specialised Area Lights all provide crisp white LED lighting and reduce Column clutter. Typically 1 Luminaire will illuminate an area of 50M x 50M which results in significantly less Poles (plus less Concrete Bases, underground wiring, etc) and less luminaires (saving further Energy and Maintenance). As a result, there are more usable spaces in the car park (as typically each Pole would result in a lost space). In appearance, the lack of column clutter is an advantage. These Area Lights are suitable for new Projects or for retrofits requiring an LED upgrade to External Lights.
