External Retail Lighting
VeeLite has a strong presence in the Retail Carpark lighting market and has illuminated many of the Retail carparks in Ireland. In addition to Car Parks, we have also illuminated the Access Roadways within Retail centres using LED Streetlights. In many Stores and Shopping Centres, we have also provided Floodlights, Landscape Lighting, Plaza area Lighting, Internal lighting, etc. The Photos shown below include large Retail Centres in Ireland such as Liffey Valley, Mahon Point, Crescent, Tallaght and well known Retail Chains such as Tesco, LIDL, Powercity, etc.
For Retail Carpark lighting, VeeLite has a wide choice of lighting solutions varying from High Mast Floodlighting (typically 15M upwards) to Specialised Carpark Lights (typically 8M to 12M) or Streetlights (typically 5M to 10M) or Wand and High Bollard Solutions (typically to 4M height).
Generally, when VeeLite is involved in the Planning, we seek to design a scheme with a clean, minimal lighting layout designed to prevent column clutter. With Car Park Lights, 1 Light will typically illuminate an area of 50M x 50M using 8M or 10M Poles. This reduction in Poles also maximises the number of Carpark spaces available as well as reducing Installation (eg. Digging Pole Bases or Trenches for Wiring) and operating costs (energy, maintenance, etc).
VeeLite offer a computerised lighting design service using Autocad to produce Site drawings showing location of Lights and Poles, together with light (lux) levels achieved and other statistical data. Typically Retail Carparks are illuminated to 20 Lux average, but this can range between 10 Lux and 50 Lux depending on the requirements of the Client.
