The illumination for this Project consisted of a mixture of 2 Floodlight types with high vertical light levels, even at a distance of 250m.  Both Luminaire and Poles were supplied in a special RAL finish.  

The lighting for Golf Ranges usually is located behind the Golfers to provide the highest light level on the vertical surface of the Golf ball that is nearest the Golfer.  There are 2 Floodlights shown on the lighting column below – one to illuminate the it Ball as it climbs high initially and the second Floodlighting for illuminating the ball as it travels in excess of 200m away. A solid curtain of trees is useful as a backdrop to provide background contrast to the colour of the golf ball, as well as to prevent light spill or glare outside the Golf range site.
