ABP Food Group
The ABP Food Group has a €2.3 Billion annual Turnover and employs 8000 people, mainly in the UK and Ireland. VeeLite have supplied many ABP Food Processing Plants over 20 years with both internal industrial lighting – typically food processing areas and warehouses – and with general external lighting – carpark lighting, road lighting, etc. The Plant shown uses 280w LED Lights in 3K version. These recessed LED Luminaires provide high light levels on both vertical and horizontal surfaces and high uniformity even with wide intervals between the Luminaires. Both 3K and 4K LED optics are offered.
The deep acrylic lens is suited towards the Food Industry, where a glass Lens is usually prohibited. It also provides visual comfort compared to uncovered LED modules. Access to the Driver is from above the Ceiling.
The Flange is constructed from Stainless Steel (Grade 304 or higher grades on request) to resist corrosion which can sometimes be an issue, especially in the Diary industry. For refit projects, the original flange is kept and does not need to be moved. The Luminaire can be washed down with a suitable hose from underneath.

Hilton Meats
The luminaire used in Hilton Meats have the advantage of being dust and water tight and has an acrylic lens. The Driver (or control gear) can be supplied as part of the luminaire or can be remote (for easier access).
These advantages are in addition to the usual industrial lighting advantages including the high performance optics, the good uniformity at wide spacings, the long service life (usually LED systems to 100,000 hours +).
